open your eyes there's a world of hurt crying out for love it's no surprise the storm is coming fast time to rise above caught in between our angels and our devils got no room to move now here she comes, she's the Heavenly One Goddess of the Moon and from a place way down inside your mind she whispers a secret for all humankind... it's a wonderful world it's a beautiful day the promises come and the fear goes away our rhyme and our reason come back home to stay when Ourania shines imagine you are all you were meant to be that in time you'll know your possibility it will be a better world, eventually when Ourania shines when Ourania shines, let it shine down on me when Ourania shines turning to stone living out lives of desparation the seeds have been sown that become the fruits of our annhilation if we could believe and embrace the queen of all imagination then She will come, the Heavenly One Queen of the Stars and with the sparks flying right out of her head Ourania shows us how perfect we are... it's a wonderful world it's a beautiful day the promises come and the fears go away our lost rhyme and reason come back home to stay when Ourania shines imagine you are who you were meant to be that in time you'll know all possibility it will be a better world, at last we'll see when Ourania shines when Ourania shines, let her shine down on me with a light way down inside our mind she shines down her wisdom for all humankind... music & lyrics by George Wallace ©2008 Celestial Songs (ASCAP) 21 June 2008

Yasmine 07:06
It is unfortunate for Yasmine to have been born in a place and time where the strictures of the Koran and the Saudi code apply for Yasmine finds herself with child and for this she must pay with her life Yasmine remains fully aware of what she must do… Yasmine go the way of the underground Yasmine never look back Yasmine go the way of the underground Yasmine never look back Yasmine contact the underground messenger who is holed up in the El Fundo Ganoob Hotel in Taiz he await the word …and the camels cruise by with the Arabs on top the Arabs, they are chewing the narcotic Khat it helps them forget their troubles… Yasmine go the way of the underground Yasmine never look back Yasmine go the way of the underground Yasmine never look back Yasmine, go under Yasmine, she sail over go under Yasmine, she sail over Yasmine go the way of the underground Yasmine never look back Yasmine go the way of the underground Yasmine never look back sail away Yasmine, go under Yasmine, she sail over go under Yasmine, she sail over sail away Yasmine is the silent promise she carry the seed of hope George Wallace & Electra Briggs © 2007 Celestial Songs (ASCAP)

almost time, Midnight Dancer… Midnight Dancer flash of fire in the dark she comes and goes where nobody but she knows and waits for the night far, far ‘cross miles of snowfield under a nightshade she hides are you there Midnight Dancer? are you there Midnight Dancer? are you there Midnight Dancer? dance into the moonlight and show your face daytime sleeper Dancer’s out of her mind dreaming in style she beguiles, sending smiles from her world …who is that girl? for so long I’ve sat by this window chasing that same rising star almost time, Midnight Dancer almost time, Midnight Dancer almost time, Midnight Dancer step into the moonlight and show your face and slowly the words to a song long forgotten appear O Pirouette Queen, must you stay so unseen running off day after day won’t you ever come and play? holy darkness what’s the secret you keep? let’s see that painting in motion, love poem in light again tonight show me your spin and your fancy show me your satin and lace now it’s time, Midnight Dancer the night no longer hides you now it’s time, Midnight Dancer dancing naked across the crazy moon it’s time, Midnight Dancer who knows what kind of goddess you are if you dare, Midnight Dancer dance out from the shadows and show your face…

mother earth, father blue skies old tale for brand new eyes see sweet child, rolling green plains caressed by suns and rains the wheat fields grow, they sway in winds of change near-bursting with life, so known yet so strange she’s the dance, she’s the dancer grand design and designer call her Demeter, rising from this fertile earth master plan, laws eternal what once was is living still Goddess, touch… touch and bless us where water falls o’er rocks where night-gardens wash the noise of worlds away as suns turn to moons we can see her play she’s the dance (now behold from whom the harvests come) she’s the dancer (Demeter the strong and wild one) grand design (bringer of abundance to the earth) and designer (child of the mother giving birth) call her Demeter, rising from this fertile earth she’s the dance (now behold from whom the harvests come) she’s the dancer (Demeter the strong and wild one) grand design (bringer of abundance to the earth) and designer (child of the mother giving birth) she’s the dance (now behold from whom the harvests come) the Midnight Dancer (Demeter the strong and wild one) Demeter, rise…

Suzanne 06:21
Suzanne takes you down to her place near the river now you will be travelling with her you can hear the boats go by yes you will be travelling blind you can spend the night beside her but you now know that you love her and you know that she's half crazy for you’ve touched her perfect body but that's why you want to be there with your mind… and she feeds you tea and oranges that come all the way from China Leonard Cohen and just when you mean to tell her that you have no love to give her then she gets you on her wavelength and she lets the river answer that you've always been her lover and you want to travel with her and you want to travel blind and you know that she will trust you for you've touched her perfect body with your mind and Jesus was a sailor when he walked upon the water and he spent a long time watching from his lonely wooden tower and when he knew for certain only drowning men could see him he said ‘All men will be sailors then until the sea shall free them’ but he himself was broken long before the sky would open forsaken, almost human he sank beneath your wisdom like a stone and you want to travel with him and you want to travel blind and you think maybe you'll trust him for he's touched your perfect body with his mind now Suzanne takes your hand she’s the Goddess by the ocean she is wearing rags and feathers from Salvation Army counters and the sun pours down like honey on our lady of the harbour and she shows you where to look among the garbage and the flowers there are heroes in the seaweed there are children in the morning they are leaning out for love and they will lean that way forever while Suzanne holds the mirror and you want to travel with her and you want to travel blind and you know that you can trust her for she's touched your perfect body with her mind Leonard Cohen

you’re the one for me maybe because you own the only key that will open wide my heart to all the gifts you are a lover like no other I will ever know and I’m the one for you nobody else could get you like I do your worst of times, your best were lost on all the rest who never dared believe you as you are out from a smoky past I wished for you and like a lucky star you appeared and over the arc of time my wish came true love is now and here for us, my dear… yeah you’re the one for me deep in your timeless eyes my fate I see and I shall keep this flame e’er burning in your name, ‘cause you’re the one for me out of a lonely past I wished for you there like a lucky star you appeared and over the arc of time my wish came true love is now, it’s here for us, my dear… you’re the one for me of all the goddesses through history not one of them comes close to you, my radiant rose yes you’re the one the only one you’re the one for me…

with the desert dust upon my face I will see the coming of the Golden Dawn in the smiling hot Sahara wind where the sweet kiss of life lives on and on soon to touch that ground again sacred earth I’m found again I’m coming home home to you, Mokambaku we are family I’m letting it go, letting it all go it’s the ‘meant to be’ that comes back to me (the things I love I let go of) but first the letting go, I’m letting it all go free at last, I’m free at last standing on the edge of ancient silence as these salted tears stream down my burning cheeks now on my knees I ask the last drained from me oh let these red cathedral canyons teach brother son, rise and shine sister moon, rise and shine I’m coming home home to you, Mokambaku we are family I’m letting it go, letting it all go it’s the ‘meant to be’ that comes back to me (the things I love I let go of) but first the letting go, I’m letting it all go free at last, I’m free at last we are family, we all, we all, we all… at the final moment of my dying how could that release be ever sweet now Mokambaku, she has the answer across the distance we are still in reach tears of joy, blood on sand dust to dust in the motherland I’m coming home home to you, Mokambaku we are family I’m letting it go, letting it all go what’s meant to be will come back to me (the things I love I let go of) but first the letting go, I’m letting it go free at last free at last free at last free at last

about

‘The Goddess’ presents a refreshing mix of instrumentals and songs invoking a fusion of world music, progressive rock with jazz undercurrents, and delightfully exotic ambiences. Inspired by some of the all-time great concept albums and topped off with dazzling production, the journey takes us through joyfully raucous orchestral pieces to mid-tempo Arabic-tinged grooves to lilting sambas to world-rock which reminds some of a Peter Gabriel style.

For audiences eager to hear new, truly different music that ‘plays on a wide screen’, The Goddess delivers a truly remarkable experience. For, at its deepest core, this is soaring, spiritually potent music that ROCKS
